Custom Pickleball Paddles Built Around Your Brand

Jeimor is a pickleball paddle factory in Anhui, China. We build custom and private label paddles for brand owners, distributors, clubs and event organisers — from T700 raw carbon faces and thermoformed cores to printed cartons carrying your logo. Minimum order is 100 paddles per design, and your first custom sample leaves the plant in 7–10 working days after artwork approval.

Sending artwork is not required to get a price. Tell us your target retail price and volume, and we will quote a configuration that fits inside it.

What You Can Customize

Five layers of the paddle can carry your brand: the face material, the core thickness, the surface graphics, the grip, and the packaging. The table below is the honest version — it separates what is a free choice on our existing platform, what adds cost, and what requires a new mould.

ComponentStandard (no extra tooling)Custom (cost adder)Requires new mould
Face materialFiberglass; T700 raw carbonT700 with a specified weave appearance; Kevlar hybrid on request—
Core13 mm or 16 mm polypropylene honeycombAny thickness between 11 mm and 17 mmNon-PP core, or a custom cell size
Shape & size16.5" × 7.5", square with rounded cornersElongated and wide-body outlines from existing mouldsA genuinely new outline, or edgeless construction
Weight7.8–8.1 ozTarget weight held within ±0.2 oz, matched batch by batch—
Grip4.25" circumference, perforated cushion, black or coloured wrapGrip circumference, cushion firmness, wrap texture, printed grip tape—
Edge guardMoulded edge guard in standard coloursCustom colour, your logo printed or lasered on the guardA custom guard profile
Face graphics—Silk screen (1–4 spot colours), UV print (full colour), heat transfer, laser engraving—
PackagingPlain export cartonPrinted colour box, hang tag, sleeve, poly bag, blisterA custom die-cut structure
Accessories—Branded neoprene cover, overgrips, sling bag, ball bundleA new bag or cover pattern

How the minimum works: every row in the "standard" column runs at 100 units per configuration. Cost adders apply per configuration, not per order — five colourways of 100 units is five configurations. Changed graphics within the same print method do not carry a new setup charge beyond the plate or print-file cost, which is quoted per job.

Choosing a Face Material and a Construction Method

Two decisions drive your cost, your retail price band and your story on the box. Buyers often treat them as one choice; they are not.

Face material

Fiberglass

The cheapest face that still plays well, and the reason sub-$70 paddles exist. Responsive pop, light swing, best suited to entry-level and volume retail.

T700 raw carbon

Unpainted carbon cloth with a visible weave and built-in surface grit. The default for the $150–220 band: more spin, stiffer feel, and a material story buyers recognise.

Kevlar hybrid

Carbon on the face, Kevlar in the layup for impact resistance. A differentiation play for brands that need something the big players are not selling.

Construction: cold press vs thermoformed

Cold pressing bonds the layers at ambient temperature, with adhesive doing the work. Thermoforming bonds the face, core and edge in a single heated, pressurised cycle. Thermoformed paddles cost more per unit and take longer to tool, but the edge and core become one structure — which removes the most common failure mode in the category, edge separation after three months of play.

If your retail price sits under $60, cold press is the rational choice. If you are selling at $120 and up, or if your customers are tournament players, thermoformed construction is what they expect to find when they cut the paddle open.

From First Message to First Carton

Six steps, with the working days each one takes. The clock starts when we receive what we need from you, not on the day we first spoke.

01

Brief

You send your target market, retail price point and volume estimate. We reply with a recommended platform, face material and core, plus a cost band for your volume. Day 0–2

02

Quote

An itemised EXW quotation at 100 / 500 / 1,000 units, with tooling, sample, packaging and lead time on separate lines, so you can compare it line by line with any other factory's. Day 2–4

03

Mock-up

You send vector artwork and Pantone references. We return a digital mock-up on the actual paddle outline plus the carton dieline. 24 hours

04

Sample

A pre-production sample made on the same line with the same materials as your order — not a bench sample. It arrives with the QC sheet, unit weight and a photo set. Day 7–17

05

Production

In-process checks at bonding, printing and assembly, then a pre-shipment inspection at AQL 2.5. Photo and video reports at each milestone, sent without being asked. Day 17–85

06

Shipping

EXW from our factory in Chuzhou, Anhui. Your forwarder, your loading port — we hand the goods over at the factory gate with commercial invoice, packing list and carton marks, and apply FNSKU labels and carton compliance in-house so the cartons reach your forwarder FBA-ready. Day 60 onward

Lead Times and Minimum Order

We quote ranges rather than single numbers, because a printed carton and a plain carton do not move at the same speed, and a new mould adds a week before production even starts.

What you orderSampleMass production (EXW)Minimum
Stock model, our colours and plain carton2–3 days—No minimum, sold as samples
Stock model with your logo, grip tape and carton7–10 working days25–35 days100 units
Custom colourways and full-colour packaging7–10 working days30–40 days100 units per configuration
New paddle shape or new core construction12–18 working days40–50 days500 units

Every number above is EXW — ocean freight, insurance and port charges sit outside it, and the loading port is yours to nominate. For reference, transit from Shanghai or Ningbo runs 14–22 days to US west coast ports and 28–35 days to European base ports; your forwarder will quote against the port you choose. And add two to four weeks if your production window crosses Chinese New Year — factory closures begin before the holiday itself. If your launch depends on a fixed date, tell us the date at brief stage and we will work backwards. We will also tell you when a date is not achievable instead of accepting the order and missing it.

Quality Control and Compliance

A custom order fails in two places: the batch does not match the sample, or the product does not clear the checks your sales channel applies. Both are documented here.

Three inspection gates

Incoming material

Carbon cloth batch number and gram weight, honeycomb thickness and cell size, edge guard hardness, print film adhesion. Samples retained per batch.

In process

Press temperature and pressure curves, post-bonding flatness, weight sorting in ±0.2 oz bands, print registration. Recorded every 200 units.

Before shipment

Appearance, edge bonding, grip wrap, weight, balance point, packing and carton dimensions. AQL 2.5 sampling with an inspection report that ships with the goods.

What we can and cannot claim

We hold no third-party equipment certification in our own name, and no certification mark goes on your packaging. What we do hold is the record. Every batch is measured against a written acceptance sheet — overall length and width, core thickness, face flatness, surface roughness, deflection, edge-guard bond, grip circumference, weight and balance point — against the tolerances stated in your quotation, and that record ships with the carton. Where a buying group, marketplace or insurer requires results from an accredited laboratory, samples go to a third-party lab at your instruction and the report comes back to you: cost on your side, usually two to three weeks. REACH and California Prop 65 declarations for face, core, edge guard, grip and ink are available on request.

Packaging, Print and Amazon Readiness

A paddle with your logo on it is not a product yet. What makes it sellable is print quality, the carton, and whether it can enter a fulfilment centre without being rejected.

Print methodWhat it looks likeBest forWatch out for
Silk screen1–4 spot colours, solid blocks, hard edgesSimple logos and flat geometric designsNo gradients; dark backgrounds need a white base coat
UV printPhotographic detail, gradients, fine linesIllustrated and series-wide artworkInk volume needs control or surface friction changes
Heat transferLarge area coverage, edge-to-edge colourFull-face designsAlters surface texture; assess together with grip feel
Laser engravingLow-contrast mark on raw carbonPremium minimal linesLimited to certain faces; sample first

Packaging formats: printed colour box with insert and hang tag for retail shelves; sleeve plus poly bag for e-commerce and bundled sets; blister card for sporting goods chains; plain partitioned export carton for distributors who relabel locally.

Amazon FBA preparation is handled in-house: FNSKU labels applied per unit, poly bags with the required suffocation warning, carton weight and dimension compliance, and a carton-level packing list that matches your shipment plan. This is a service line, not a favour — tell us your marketplace and we will build to its current rules.

Your Artwork, Your Design, Your Market

This is the question brand owners ask third and factories answer vaguely. Here is our position in plain language.

Artwork is never reused

Files, screens and print programmes created for your order are not applied to any other customer's goods. Screens are kept for your reorders and destroyed on request.

A mould you pay for is yours

A shape built for you belongs to you. We store and maintain it, it never enters our catalogue, and it can be transferred to another factory on your instruction.

Exclusivity is negotiated in writing

Building a brand in one market? Ask for an exclusivity clause on the models you commission. It is a commercial conversation, not a policy exception.

One honest disclosure: we supply several brands in this category, including brands that compete with each other. If the platform you are asking for is already in use in your market, we will tell you before you invest in artwork, so you can decide with that information in hand.

Why Brands Work With Jeimor

1

A real factory, not a trading desk

6,500 m² under one roof, four production lines, about 100 people across production, QC and product engineering. Moulding, printing, assembly and packing happen on our own floor — ask for a live video walk-through and we will do it on the call.

2

Specified materials, not "carbon-look"

T700 carbon cloth, high-density polypropylene honeycomb, moulded edge guards. The face grade and weave are written into your quotation, and a sample is retained from your own run, so your buyers can verify what they are paying for.

3

A low enough floor to test the market

100 units per design lets you launch a real SKU without committing to a container. Two colourways of 100 is a legitimate first order — most factories will not quote it.

4

Design turnaround measured in a day

A digital mock-up on your actual paddle outline within 24 hours of receiving artwork, plus the carton dieline in the same reply. Iterate on screen before you spend on samples.

5

Retail and marketplace ready

Printed cartons, hang tags, poly bagging and FNSKU labelling handled before the goods leave, not left to a third party your buyer has to coordinate with.

6

A straight answer on what we cannot do

We opened in December 2025 and we say so. If your date is impossible, if a spec will not hit your price, or if a certification claim cannot be supported, you hear it at the brief stage rather than at the loading dock.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the minimum order for a custom paddle?

100 units per design on our existing platform, with your artwork, colours and packaging. A genuinely new shape or core construction starts at 500 units because a mould is involved. Mixed orders are possible, with 100 units minimum per design.

How much does a custom paddle cost?

Unit cost is built from nine lines: face material, core, construction method, edge guard, printing, grip, packaging, tooling amortisation and testing. At 100 units the setup work dominates; at 1,000 units the same configuration drops noticeably. Send us your target retail price and volume and we will quote the configuration that fits inside it, itemised line by line — it is the same nine-line structure we use to explain cost in our private label cost breakdown article.

How fast can I get a sample?

Stock models ship in 2–3 days. A custom sample with your colours, print and packaging takes 7–10 working days after artwork approval. A new mould adds 12–18 working days. Sample cost is refundable against an order of 500 units or more.

Can you print my logo on both the paddle face and the grip?

Yes. The face can take silk screen, UV print, heat transfer or laser engraving; the grip tape can be printed; the edge guard can carry a laser mark or print. Send vector artwork and Pantone references and you will have a mock-up on the actual paddle outline within 24 hours.

Do you hold any equipment certification, and what testing can you show?

No certification sits in our name — no federation approval, no listing, and no certification mark goes on your packaging. What we can show is measurement: dimensions, face flatness, surface roughness, deflection, edge-guard bond and grip circumference are checked in-house against the tolerances written into your quotation, and the record ships with the carton. Where a retailer, marketplace or insurer wants results from an accredited laboratory, we send samples to a third-party lab at your instruction and share the report — the fee is on your side and turnaround is usually two to three weeks. If your brand is pursuing its own listing or approval, we supply the samples and production data the application needs, but the application has to stand in your name.

Can I customise the packaging and not just the paddle?

Yes, and we would rather you did. Packaging runs from a printed colour box with insert and hang tag through to a custom die-cut structure. Packaging artwork is approved on a dieline before printing, and retail-ready cartons are built to your marketplace's dimension and labelling rules.

Will my design be sold to anyone else?

No. Artwork, screens and print programmes created for your order are not applied to other customers' goods. A mould you pay for belongs to you and can be transferred on your instruction. Market exclusivity on commissioned models is negotiable and written into the agreement.

What happens if mass production does not match the sample?

The sample is the standard, and its QC sheet travels with the order. Pre-shipment inspection compares production against it at AQL 2.5. If a batch falls outside the agreed tolerance on weight, flatness, edge bonding or print registration, we rework or remake before shipping — and we tell you before the ship date, not after.

Can you match a paddle we already sell?

We can work from a spec sheet, and we can work from a physical sample you send. We will tell you honestly where a match is exact and where it is close but not identical — swing weight and surface feel in particular are hard to replicate without the original construction details.

What shipping terms do you quote — can you do FOB or DDP?

We quote EXW from our factory in Chuzhou, Anhui, and that is the whole of our price: the goods at our gate. Sea freight, insurance, port charges, duties and import VAT sit on your side and are paid to your own forwarder, who also books the vessel and names the loading port. We do not quote FOB, CIF or DDP, because we do not mark freight or destination charges up onto our invoice. What we do hand over is the export paperwork — commercial invoice, packing list, carton marks — with FNSKU labelling and carton compliance already applied, so your forwarder can collect and ship without repacking. Export declaration is normally your forwarder's job; if you need us to arrange it, raise it at quotation stage and we will confirm what we can handle.

Can we visit the factory or send an inspector?

Yes to both. Third-party inspection by SGS, Bureau Veritas, TÜV or your own agent is welcome at any production stage — just tell us the booking date so we can schedule the line. If travel is not practical, we will do a live video walk-through on a call.

Do you work with brands outside the US?

Yes. Enquiries come mainly from the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia and Southeast Asia. Packaging and documentation can be prepared for EU retail requirements, including REACH declarations and local-language labelling on request.
